Meet our CEO
Kjeld Nygaard, 39, formerly of Kilkenny, Ireland has spent the last twenty years working in the areas of market and commerce. While studying at the University College Cork, Kjeld established a student friendly dating network that allowed like-minded academics to meet and form lasting relationships, as well as, share intellectual ideologies. After graduation, he realized his entrepreneurial dreams by initiating multiple startup companies in Western Europe that focused on communication, personal matching, and relationship building techniques for both the private and professional work environment. His endeavors earned him the William B. Fletcher Prize for the Improvement of the Quality of Human Companionship in Modern Day Society.
He has also been involved in the areas of motivational speaking, presenting at various colleges and universities all over the globe. In recent years he has also participated in numerous charitable programs for continued improvement of the quality of life for people in developing nations. He has volunteered with UNICEF, Greenpeace, and has worked in a supportive function for Orthodontists Without Borders.
In 2016, Kjeld invested in a property in Las Vegas, Nevada which would eventually become Desiderium LLC, a wholesome dating and courtesy companion service for busy professionals. The company’s major focus is on offering intellectual conversation, enjoyable companionship, and the possibility of lifelong relationships, with the goal of eliminating missed opportunities and strengthening the bond between individuals who might not have otherwise met. Since its initiation, Desiderium has led to seven successful marriages and twenty-four committed long-term relationships. Likewise, Kjeld has committed 15% of all Desiderium earnings to Rainbow Babies Children’s Hospital and the Salvation Army of Greater Las Vegas.
In his free time, Kjeld enjoys swimming, hiking, traveling, sailing, music, volunteering at the local animal shelter, supporting the local arts and theatre programs, and spending time with his family. He is still searching for his forever match.

Due to the long term committments for our escorts, please be aware your first choice may not be available. A $75 non-refundable check or money order is required for inquiry into hiring an escort for the use of paying for a background check.
Payment for services is required up front through money order. Desiderium reserves the right to break contract if concerns arise over the conduct of the inquiree or if the escort should raise complaint.
Employment Opportunities
Applicants for open positions must provide legal proof of age and ability to work in the city of Las Vegas and must be eighteen or older at the time of application. A background check as well as a drug test are required by date of hire. Failure to comply will result in termination with no severance.
Employees are required to meet the expectation of their hired role by six months after completion of orientation. Employees who do not meet standard may be terminated based on the terms within their employee contract. Please be aware of the terms of the contract and contact your supervisor or hiring manager with any questions.
Travel expenses as well as other purchases related to the job will be covered through the company.
